VAT in Europe
From July 1, 2021, the European VAT rules for cross-border business-to-consumer e-commerce activities have changed. Goods within the EU are subject to VAT in the Member State where the customer is established and no longer subject to VAT in the country where the webshop is located. The VAT is therefore different in each country and is paid to the country of the customer.
